5. Recognition of other certificates and audit programmes
5.1 Business Social Compliance Initiative (BSCI)
The Business Social Compliance Initiative is a business-driven platform for the improvement
of social compliance in the global supply chain. Tchibo is no member of BSCI, however to
avoid multiple auditing, we recognise BSCI audits with the score “Good” in Part B for
manufacturers in all countries except Bangladesh, Cambodia and Myanmar. When a copy of
the certificate is presented, the manufacturer is exempted from the auditing obligation for
Tchibo with respect to external Risk and Compliance Audits. Factory Audits will still need to
be carried out to cover environmental standards.
5.2 International Council of Toy Industries (ICTI)
The International Council of Toy Industries (ICTI) runs the CARE (Caring, Awareness,
Responsible, Ethical) process to promote ethical manufacturing in the toy industry supply
chain worldwide. Tchibo is no member of ICTI, however to avoid redundant multiple auditing,
we recognise ICTI audits with the Compliance Seal A, B and C. When a copy of the
certificate is presented, the manufacturer is exempted from the auditing obligation for Tchibo
with respect to external Risk and Compliance Audits. Factory Audits will still need to be
carried out to cover environmental standards.
5.3 SA8000 Standard
The SA8000 Standard (Social Accountability 8000) is a certification standard for social
management systems. It is recognized internationally as proof of compliance with social
standards. Manufacturers that have a valid SA8000 certificate are exempted from the
auditing obligation for Tchibo with respect to external Risk and Compliance Audits; a copy of
the certificate must be presented. Factory Audits will still need to be carried out to cover
environmental standards.
5.4 Worldwide Responsible Accredited Production (WRAP)
WRAP is a certification programme for sewn products including garments, apparel and
footwear, which includes both social and environmental standards.
Tchibo accepts valid WRAP Platinum, Gold and Silver certificates. When a copy of the
certificate is presented, manufacturers are exempted from the auditing obligation with
respect to external Risk and Compliance Audits.

WRAP是對(duì)于縫紉產(chǎn)品（包括成衣、配飾、鞋類）進(jìn)行的認(rèn)證項(xiàng)目，認(rèn)證內(nèi)容包括社會(huì)與環(huán)境的標(biāo)準(zhǔn)。
Tchibo接受有效的WRAP 鉑、金、銀的認(rèn)證。成交一份有效的認(rèn)證證書副本之后，制造商可以免除‘外部危險(xiǎn)和其合規(guī)性審查’。
