Assessment Types 評(píng)估類型
Assessment Service Providers perform the following types of assessments:
Full Assessments:
? Initial Assessments are conducted at facilities that have not been previousl assessed.
? Re- Assessments are identical to initial assessments except that the facility has been previously assessed and the deadline has arrived for another full assessment, which, in general, range from approximately 1- 3 years depending on the country and assessment history. Re Assessments also are required for facilities that fail to complete a Follow Up Assessment (see below) within a certain period of time (generally 6 months after an Initial Assessment).
Follow-Up Assessments:
? Follow-Up Assessments are conducted by all service providers for facilities where an Initial Assessment or Re-Assessment results in an Orange or Red rating (the rating system is described in more detail later on page 26). The Follow-Up Assessment is used to verify that agreed upon corrective actions have occurred on any identified findings and address any new findings identified in the course of verifying action on the previous findings. Follow Up Assessments generally will be conducted within 6 months of the Initial Assessment unless a Workplace Accountability Manager allows an extension.
When employee interviews are necessary to confirm corrective action, a minimum of 15 employees should be interviewed. Questions should pertain to the original finding, but can be expanded to address any new findings discovered during the
follow up process. A facility walk through should be conducted if any health and safety, environmental or employee age issues were discovered during the initial assessment. If any documentation is required for verification of corrective action,
such documentation should be obtained to confirm compliance with SGP. This documentation may include business licenses, payroll, time records, worker documents, other records as required.
Note: It is the responsibility of the supplier to pay for the assessment prior to
scheduling the assessment date unless otherwise specified by a representative
from Workplace Accountability or the Business Unit.
