our history
dps was established in 1979 by Ged Hughes to source high quality fruit and vegetables for the newly emerging British supermarkets. In 1998, in response to our customers changing needs, dps focussed its business on offering a year round global supply solution, primarily on stone fruit.

Still family owned and now led by Joint Managing Directors Paul Beaumont and Gavin Hughes, our business has grown to include ifm, a wholly owned subsidiary, which manages the research, development and export of our product from South Africa and cr produce, established in 2007, who expertly manage the wide range of citrus products that we now market.
Whilst turnover has grown from £13m in 2001 to £44m in 2009, cr produce continues to live the values of 'honesty, trust and loyalty' in all its commercial dealings, encouraging close working relationships with growers, exporters and customers.
